After selecting your preferred treatment from these options and checking out, one of our clinicians will review your order to confirm the treatment is safe for you.
Once they've approved your prescription, we'll deliver it quickly and discreetly to your door.
You don't need an existing prescription to order with MedExpress. Our clinicians will issue a prescription if they agree that the treatment you want is suitable for you.
Our quick and easy digital consultation is designed to make sure our clinicians have all the information they need to make a decision, and to save you time visiting a pharmacy or family doctor in person.
You can pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit and debit cards (including American Express, Visa, and Mastercard).
We charge a program fee alongside the treatment costs. It covers:
- a review of your consultation from one of our licensed Canadian clinicians to make sure the treatment is safe and effective for you
- issuing your prescription
- ongoing support and guidance from our customer support and clinical teams throughout your treatment
At this time, MedExpress does not offer insurance coverage or rebates on prescription medications. We’re reviewing future options, but currently prescription medications are paid by the patient.
When you pay by credit or debit card, payments will be shown on your statement under the name MedExpress.
One of our licensed clinicians will review your consultation to make sure the treatment is suitable and safe for you. This also gives them a chance to ask you for any extra information they might need to make a decision. Once a prescription is issued, we'll deliver your medication directly to you.
Our clinicians normally review orders within 24 hours. It may take longer if they need more information from you before they can safely issue a prescription.
No, at MedExpress you can reorder your treatment as you need it. There's no ongoing contract or hidden fees, and you're always in control.
Yes. We work with a registered Canadian pharmacy to dispense your medication, and all treatments are authorized for use in Canada.
If you use MedExpress, we'll give you the option to tell us your primary care provider details and give us consent to share information about your treatment. This is entirely optional. However, it is recommended to keep your doctor informed of any medication you're taking.
You can remove your primary care provider details and withdraw consent at any time by contacting our customer support team.
Our online consultation will give you an indication of treatments you're likely to be eligible for. Once you've placed your order, our prescribers review your details to confirm the treatment is safe for you.
If they decide that the treatment you've ordered isn't suitable, we'll automatically process a full refund for the medication to your original payment method.
Shipping
Shipping is free for all orders.
Our partner pharmacy aims to ship within 1 to 3 working days across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. Some treatments, such as weight loss medication, may require additional safety checks prior to authorization. The delivery time only begins once your treatment has been authorized and dispatched, not from the time you place your order.
The shipping options may vary between provinces and is managed by our partner pharmacy. To simplify this for you, shipping is free for all of our customers.
To dispatch your order, our clinicians first need to approve and issue a prescription. If done by 3pm EST Monday to Thursday, we can dispatch your medication on the same day. Anything approved after that will be dispatched the following Monday.
Yes. Every order is shipped in plain, neutral packaging with no branding or labels.
Orders placed via medexpress.co/ca are delivered exclusively to addresses in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
MedExpress also operates in the UK and Germany. In the United States we operate under a sister-brand, Ziphealth.co.

Contact your doctor, a local pharmacy, or MedExpress if you experience any side effects with your treatment. Seek immediate medical attention if side effects are severe, and call 911 if they’re life-threatening.

MedExpress works with Canadian-registered doctors and nurse practitioners for the safe prescription of medications.
For the dispensing and shipping of medications, MedExpress partners with a registered Canadian mail-order pharmacy. The pharmacy is authorized to dispense medications to customers in Canada.
Canadian mail-order pharmacies are also subject to government regulation and oversight, ensuring that your safety remains a top priority and that we consistently uphold the highest standards.
MedExpress has a written complaints policy. To lodge a formal complaint, please view our complaints process. We aim to acknowledge all formal written complaints within two working days and respond to them within five working days.

Due to regulations, we don’t offer discounts on treatments. However, we do offer access to Patient Support Programs (PSPs) which can give you ongoing reduced treatment prices.
PSPs are set up by treatment manufacturers. Along with reduced prices, they’ll give you useful resources, directly from the manufacturer.
We’ll ask you if you want to join a PSP as part of our online consultation. This means our customers can get:
- Expert care and support from our teams
- Access to reduced pricing using PSPs
- Additional advice and resources from the manufacturers of their treatment
Patient Support Programs (PSPs) are designed to improve the access and affordability of treatments. They’re set up by treatment manufacturers and offer:
- Ongoing reduced prices (with savings of up to 23%, which can amount to over a hundred dollars)
- Useful resources about the treatments, direct from the manufacturer
Yes! We’ll ask you if you want to enrol in a PSP as part of our online consultation. This allows us to offer access to reduced pricing for our customers.
Erectile dysfunction treatments
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition where a lack of blood flow or nerve stimulation affects you getting and maintaining erections. It can be caused by a range of physical and psychological conditions like stress, anxiety, or depression. ED could also be the first sign of other health conditions too, like cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
If you experience erectile dysfunction, certain types of medication may help you achieve a stronger, longer-lasting erection.

At MedExpress, the treatments we prescribe for erectile dysfunction work by increasing blood flow to the penis. This is what helps you to achieve and maintain an erection when aroused.
There are many causes of erectile dysfunction, and they can be both physical and mental. A common cause is reduced blood flow to the penis due to narrowed blood vessels. These narrowings can be caused by high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, or smoking. Other potential causes include hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, cycling for long periods of time, and certain medications.
Some people may experience side effects when taking erectile dysfunction medication. These side effects may vary depending on the type of medication and the dosage strength.
The most common side effects include:

Store the medication at room temperature and in its original packaging. It should be stored away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
